Dr. Marissa Salvo is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy. Dr. Salvo provides clinical pharmacy services at UConn Health within the Internal Medicine clinic in Farmington, CT and serves as an ambulatory care advanced pharmacy practice experience preceptor there. She coordinates and teaches the Pharmacy Communications course, along with teaching in the Patient Assessment and Endocrine modules. Dr. Salvo graduated from the University of Rhode Island with her Doctor of Pharmacy and minor in Leadership Studies. Following graduation, she completed an ASHP Accredited PGY1 residency, focusing in ambulatory care and academia, at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis, MO. She is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist and holds certifications in medication therapy management, immunization, anticoagulation, and teaching.
